Robert M. McDonald
Robert M McDonald (February 28, 1943 - January 11, 2014) Mr. Robert M. “Bo” McDonald of Panama City Beach, Fla and formerly of Geneva, Ala passed away at Bay Medical Covenant Hospice Center on Saturday, January 11, 2014. He was 70. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, January 14, 2014 at Maple Avenue Baptist Church with Dr. Mike Shirah officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens with Pittman Funeral Home of Geneva directing. The family will receive friends prior to the service Tuesday, beginning at 10:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Covenant Hospice, 107 W. 19th Street, Panama City, FL 32405. Mr. McDonald was born in Nashville, Tenn on February 28, 1943 to the late James Alford McDonald and Elizabeth Vickery McDonald. He graduated from Troy State University with a masters degree in business accounting. He served in the US Air Force 579 Strategic Missile Squadron in Roswell, New Mexico. Bo was a huge Auburn fan. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Gaynette Messer McDonald. Survivors include his wife, Pamela Ann Futrell McDonald of Panama City Beach, Fla; daughter, Stephanie McDonald Erdman; two grandchildren, Brittany Erdman and Hunter David Erdman, all of Panama City, Fla; brother, Jim McDonald of Grand Rapids, Mich; four sisters, Barbara Lee of Eufaula, Susan Williams of Nashille, Tenn , Holly Kilgore and Dianne Coleman, both of Geneva, Ala; and numerous nieces and nephews.
